It seems to be a general thing with voting. As the pictures are viewable as soon as they are uploaded only new members really have the excuse that they don't have time to go through them all - I'm sure we all bookmark a couple of favourites during the time pictures are uploaded so it;s only a matter of another flick through to make sure before you vote.

I'm so glad we have virtually a month to get the photo. I havn't seen a sunrise or sunset for a couple of weeks its been so drab hope the sun comes out soon. The only sunset I have is what I posted in last comp so want a new one.

Same thing here. Hopefully we'll get some suitable weather soon, if not it will have to be an old picture.

Wow, I just did a quick count of the number of votes registered. I think that it's only about 37. Aren't there over 1300 members of the forum? Why don't people vote?

This is the point raised in the "What is the purpose..... " thread. If only 100 login everyday how many of the 1200 users are still regular users. What percentage of that 1200 have drifted off ? I would expect the vote to be higher as the only interest is photography but not much higher as I suspect the number of regular users are between 100 and 150. A possible another 50 who pop in now and then. Maybe Andy has some stats on this ?

Hi Snowyowl

I think the voting page link needs to be more prominent so that as soon as you log on to World Photography Forums you see the voting link in front of you! At the moment it takes some finding if you don't know where it is?

nirofo.
