Which ever system you get I’m sure the members on here will have a good selection of lenses to put you on the right track, Tangata.

I have just joined this forum & came across it when doing a comparison of these two lenses. I agree with @birdsnapper you can get confused, however, after reading the comments I think the Canon will be my choice.
