If I had the money I would get the 7D, the 60D does not have micro adjust so if you have any lenses that are out a fraction your going to have to send them away for calibration :(

Thank you all for pictures and detailed explanations. It supported my decision in "which one". Now is the time to look at the offers and decide "when".

Nothing beats the 7D image quality, in my opinion. I sold my 5D as well, just wasn't using it much at all. I know a few folks who swear by the 7D for sports (car racing, BMX, etc) and that use it exclusively for film...if that's ever anything you're interested in doing.
Much luck! |
I like the 7D. Totally agree that it is only limited by you and your lens quality. I also know a lot of filmmakers who use it consistently now, if you're ever interested in the moving picture aspect.
It's solid too. I have heard some say that it gets overheated easily, but they were filming so maybe that's where the problem came from. |
I did my decision long time ago and I can only agree with all above. Thanks for your help everyone. Actually - never tryed the film part yet.... what a shame!!! Something to try now in Dolomites this long weekend. It is said to be HD....

I already own the 40D that serves me well so for video I went for a dedicated HD camcorder and glad I did, this thing is wicked :)
