marydoll, it does seem like a massive come down from having my dslr with me at all time but I am happy enough with the quality of the photos for such a small compact, there are more expensive ones but didn't want to go over the top. I probably will only use it occasionally but its nice to know I will have a camera with me at all times with decent enough features.
I looked at the superzooms but they were just to bulky to keep in a handbag, not what I was after. |
yes I know what you mean Christine - after I used the compact and went back to DLSR even it seemed heavy and I had never noticed that before - always handy to have a compact.

Could never get on with the low quality of compacts but would not be without my little Olympus Pen E-PL5.:)
This one was taken at ISO 8000 and I have included a 100% crop.:) |
Hi Paul - Sometimes I'm about to throw this one in the bin but it does take ok scenery pics when I'm too tired to cart a big camera around but the zoom is absolutely hopeless, but then that's life with a compact.

Craftysnapper- looks like you are using ACDSee-if so, which version? I've used it since I got my first digital camera (1.8mp!) and am now up to Pro 6.2. I don't recall seeing anyone else on here using it.I don't use Photoshop although I've just got a copy of Lightroom 5 which I'm trying to understand!
