I got one and it works just as well as my Kingston 50x, IMO a bargain.

Mine has arrived and i'm using it. It's fine.

The annoying thing is that it and my jessops card both report themselves as Toshiba cards and thier serial numbers are only a few digits apart.

Jessops 1Gb card = £80 ish
7dayshop 1Gb card = £16

Now I know jessops have to make a profit but that's a bit much. I used Jessops because i'd left my only card in the card reader at work and wanted to go to Willington Gravel pits that weekend. It was only a month or two ago so it's not like there was a huge price drop in the meantime either.

Oh well, lesson learned.

Rob

Did you find the speed was the same ?

I might pop one on the order next time I buy something from them.

jammie*dodger 21-04-06 13:46

Speed seems identical. I truly believe that the 7dayshop one was made on the same production line to identical standards as Jessops own branded cards.

Rob.

If they are the same speed it sounds like a very good deal indeed!! well done.

I've bought one or two bits form them over the last month or so - mostly filter stuff and they've been quite good. Not all items in stock at time of order so arrived in dribs and drabs, but only paid one off nominal postage and they send an account update regularly.

You get what you pay for I guess.

Well I'd go for them over Jessops anyday. Lord knows how many problems I've had with Jessops. Leif

Now that's annoying. I just checked out 7dayshop and their prices are great. The same model battery that I paid $100 Cdn sellin for $14.00 Cdn. The catch is that they don't ship to Canada.

I used to buy all my batteries and film from 7day shop. A battery sold on the high street by a shop such as Boots for £12 was about £2 from 7dayshop. I do wonder what is going on.

Just recieved my 1 gb card from 7dayshop. Can see no difference from my SanDisk ultra II for write speed in the camera. Uploading from card reader to computer is actually quicker than the SanDisk !. Time will tell if it turns out to be reliable but first impressions are that it is a great buy.
