That is perfectly what it is.
Once in a blue moon. Which is the calendar trick and no change of moon's actual color, when moon is seen for the second time in a single month as Moon's cycle (synodic cycle) is 29.53 days, while the month's cycle (Metonic cycle) 30.44 days. This happens once, evey 2 to three years, that is 7 times in 19 years!
Didn't I say, it is easy!
Congratulation again Trena. Its on you now.

Tugboat 03-02-16 23:33

another easy one

I know, it's ridiculously easy ...I just loved the picture, it was taken in Longreach, QLD incidentally.

How about:
A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back.

Tugboat 05-02-16 21:46

haha, great shot, I won't guess it as we are going away soon for a couple of weeks and I don't have time to play much now, got to get packing....will catch up when I get back.

graham harcombe 06-02-16 09:07

It's far simpler than you suggest Sassan, I'm sure you have it Trena, but I'll let it run fr another day or so before loading an alternative.

sassan 06-02-16 11:17

I don't see the water in the trough but how about:
"You can take a horse to water but you can’t make it drink"?

graham harcombe 06-02-16 19:52

Bravo Sassan, sorry about the lack of water, but you have the answer. So your go again!

Thanks Graham.
Yes it was an easy one but you know I like things on the hardest ways!
Anyhow, another very easy one here to continue the game, especially that this is the "Super-Concussion week, sorry SuperBall" weekend here in USA:

I thought it is easy but may be I made it bad or something. If no takers, then let me know if you want me to give the answer so next person can follow the game.

graham harcombe 16-02-16 22:49

Sorry Sassan I can't even get a start on that one. Perhaps a tiny clue?

Graham:
I actually got inspired by your: "No man is an island".
Just look at what you see, in context of the shape of image! and then what the sign signifies.
Trust me when saying, it is very easy. But then as Trena says, Puzzles are easy when answers are known.
So again, look at the elements. Their number. Where they are and can it happen or Not!
See if the clue is helpful now.

sassan 18-02-16 02:22

OK another hint:
Count the number of Suns you see and see where you go from there!

Peter Waites 25-02-16 16:48

hmm - could ya give us another little clue?

sassan 25-02-16 20:21

Sure. Hint is in the first paragraph of my recently upload image in gallery =-> LINK

Let me know if more hint is needed and once you see the answer, you will agree with me that it was easy so don't think of hard proverbs.

mbkamrani 26-02-16 01:45

My gray cells in my mind are not working well now , it is after mid night ! I think more next time .... ;)

Nope.
Hint: Use the elements / their numbers, you see in picture.
Use the shape you see in image.
Lets see how it goes for next day and if no answers, I'll give the answer on Saturday (Local time).

mbkamrani 26-02-16 13:04

I think I got it , though I don't know English proverb , but some thing like two rulers can not rule in one country but many poor people can live together in a small place !
Or there is just one sun in our world ! .... I think all are not that proverb you want !

You are very very close Mo.
I think I give it to you and having the right idea, you are the winner.

Here is the answer and now its your turn to create a proverb in picture form and torture us!:) Take your time and go for it. Ball is in your court.

Peter Waites 26-02-16 13:37

Er er gotta say - Never heard that in my life Sassan:D Maybe proverbs don't travel.

Completely hear you and agree. Seems a lot of proverbs are cultural or time related, depending on how commonly you hear them, locally, they make more or no sense but then to me its always nice to hear and learn new ideas and concepts.

mbkamrani 26-02-16 17:46

Wow ... I should find a nice international proverb and worse is finding a shot relating to that .... Very hard home work , how much time do I have to make it ?

mbkamrani 26-02-16 17:51

Now some thing came to my mind , but I think the first viewer would be the winner cause it must be very easy , as soon as I edit the shot I will post it,but I do not know how to post it , in general gallery ? Or here? I do not see any upload box here ! Could you help me Sassan ? Thanks

mbkamrani 27-02-16 01:38

Thanks a lot Sassan , I got it , very very soon , I post my shot and start the game! But as I said before it must be very easy , but try to make it a bit difficult ! ;)

mo

mbkamrani 27-02-16 04:49

Simple proverb

1 Attachment(s)
My mother language is not English so i do not know English proverbs , just few !
I know the first one who sees this shot knows it , but pretend you do not know the answer :D !
Of course not very exact similarity to the famous proverb !

Peter Waites 27-02-16 09:54

It's too early in the day for me to think Mo - but I'll get back to it.

sassan 27-02-16 10:01

Mo:
Puzzles are easy, when solved. Every one else could be a challenge no matter how easy you think they might be.
But then hummmm. Its not early in the day and this bird don't regularly eat worm, though I know this guy is capable of eating things that no one though could be edible. So how about:

Early bird is the Lucky bird!
or
The early bird catches the worm!

No ideas otherwise.

mbkamrani 27-02-16 15:15

I had heard " Early bird gets the worm "
And my proper shot for this proverb was this shot , though it is not early morning , but for cold weather of our area this is early bird !
So you are winner and should start new game , thanks a lot dear Sassan , waiting to see what you do with our brains , but this time if you offer a hard proverb I ask poitro detective , we call him here poarow ! ;)
So that's your turn ! ;)

sassan 27-02-16 15:43

Your are very close.
This could be an answer too, but not what I had in mind.
Go in same direction and you have the answer.

Tugboat 28-02-16 09:20

what a great image, I'll have a go!

Time Flys?

mbkamrani 28-02-16 11:03

Time never comes back or some thing like that ! am i wrong ?

graham harcombe 28-02-16 13:28

Great to see you winning and posting Mo. You guessed a proverb that was a new one to me ...so, I'm not too old to learn.

I'll ponder this overnight.
