I was being too fussy before - silver ring wins.

Although not made of silver it is a ring that is silver in colour. It is infact my wedding ring showing the signs of being worn constantly.

I am now to realize that one of the most interesting things, when fully worn out is actually the "Wedding Ring", when in one piece and in original pair!

Well done Peter. Lets see what you have for us now?

Ok - I wonder what you'll make of this.

OK.
My first reaction, and knowing Zorro didn't go to school, so the cheater could have copied all written script, I thought this could be "The Mark of Zorro" only when Zorro not knowing he is mirror imaging his cheat sheath.

But then in closer inspection, it seems like a ground glass or glass under rain showing a view.

Yet under closer inspection it appears to be a photoshop CS2 filter applied on an image. And if it is taken with 1/250 @F5, you should have outdoor light and noting the lens is parked at 82mm focal length, says you have had some distance to the subject. Not sure why you used shutter priority though. Well all these exclude this being a picture of spying a subject in the shower or likewise:) but beyond that I can't think of anything better.

So I must answer with a question: Is this a view of an inanimate object or a land scape?

Yeah! The "crop" and the filter are just there to make the challenge last a little longer. Your analysis is spot on - it's an outdoor "still life". Shutter was used because I was looking for birdies. Thanks for joining in sassan.

Well that didn't go down too well. It was part of a gate latch and i tried to make it a bit less obvious. Anyone else fancy a go at setting one?
