That gave me a good laugh, poor old Windermere.
	 |

Wow thats got some impact. Am I right in thinking that you have replaced the lake with that part of the sea which surounded the ship?
	 |

I know I have mentioned this on another thread but to get some really great free plug ins go to http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm.

Just cut out the ship and left a little of the original wake on it - move tool on to the Lake pic - selected the ship in its layer scaled and rotated it - flattened image then cloned in the lake and scenery up to the hull. |

 This is the original pic

I re-discovered Picasa by Google. It's free photo software that's really easy to use. I like the collage feature demonstrated in the pics below. You just pick five or six pictures, and it does it for you!

Is there any way to extend the turbulence up the lake? Snowyowl.
I agree with your comments re the placid water further up the lake-and around the church. I was caught up in a force 11 gale a couple of years ago and this image was one of the smaller waves. I merely wanted the unlikely effect on Windermere but did not wish to drown out most of it with waves. The destroyer, a great image, added to that effect. Gerry. |

I have had a go at smoothing the water into the rest of the lake.

I find that I've learned an awful lot on this thread, things that I knew PS could do but I didn't know how. Thanks, guys!

Count me in again; been trying for some time but the right effect is difficult, however I offer this one just for comment (or not, if it's rubbish)

I like that one you have come up with something different the lighting is really good and I like the surreal approach.

Christine, that took a lot of time and it's still not one for the wall. Beach rotated through 180 degs and clouds the same. Moon is in but I don't know about position and the tree is floating.

Well that's definitely different, everything back to front, actually it looks very good. I have been slowly going through all my cds for more pictures but don't have many landscape shots. I have atatched a balloon with the flame showing, I have removed the background ready for insertion. it was a very murky night when I took it.

Do you realise this is the largest running thread now. It beats the mini challenge.

		Hi All
Had some thoughts about this pic, a macro of a balance wheel in a small wrist watch - hows about sitting some scaled down people around the actual wheel. Brian |

Don PS Is the target the ' Wind Farms ' thread on BF  |

Seems like the figures may be too small to have much impact Brian but it is worth a try if you have suitable images. My idea would be to use father time\the grim reaper if anyone has a copy.
	Gerry |

I still havn't found any images I will keep looking.

Hi Gerry Its been raining here for the past two days - so have'nt been able to take the shots I had in mind. I thought of wife and one or two of my sons sitting on the garden seat and shot from a bedroom window - so the angle would be about 30-40 degrees - next best thing is does anyone have pics of kids on a swing - they would fit - what you think?? |

Yes thats it - and a Clown standing on the centre of the regulator with the kids looking up at him.

Thanks Christine, your own is looking good; a brilliant "eyedea" and grandma looks great.

Gerry I am intrigued by the snow effect photo in the critique thread. I have been looking for a tutorial to try the same but having no luck. The magazine he is referring to DP had the tutorial in there and would you believe that one I haven't got.
