Only a few simple rules John - like stick to the track

Apart from the rules you signed up to when you joined any extra rules Foxy will outline along with the theme for the month.

The theme is often open to interpretation , maybe a limit if previously posted in gallery, sometimes digital artwork is excluded and in the unlikely event of more that 30 entries some entries are excluded for the final vote.

keep it simple - :D

As Rob has stated, no rules really just a few guidelines posted with the theme every month. This months theme is 'Travel' and was announced with the rules Here

Thanks for that Canis and Foxy. There seemed to be lots of suggestions of alterations and I suffered a senior moment.
Please clarify if you would, are you allowed to post a photo already used in a separate category? I don't really need to, but just curious!
Thanks for your time, John

It is possible to transfer an image from a normal gallery category to the competition provided it was uploaded within 30 days.

Do you have a photo in mind?

We would also have to enforce that a date is specified when the image is uploaded for the comp... this has caused a few problems before, when a photo has had to be disqualified because no date was supplied. Just a month and year would be o.k. if an exact date cannot be remembered.

cheers,

Although I agree with the above, we/you have to accept the honesty of the poster. Adjusting the date within exif is extremely simple.
