Christine, that's Sod's Law. Briefly the method is:-

Snowflakes.

New Layer. Fill with black.
Add noise, gausien, about 140.
Blur gausien about 5.4.
Select screen mode.
Add adjustment layer for brightness and contrast and link with previous layer.

To continue practice in cutting, moving & blending, albeit a little more difficult, here is my first attempt. Please join in.

That is a brilliant bit of work. I wouldn't like to meet up with one of those for real. I think the blending is perfect a job well done.

I have enclosed a photo which I had previously on BF. I cleaned up the image to get rid of all the grass in front of the chick. I am putting it on here so as you can have a go at the clean-up.

I will post my finished effort at a later time.

Great job on both of those Christine & Trev; I wasn't sure how far the stripe should go from the eye but it looks better going all the way across like you both have it. I decided to bend the grass rather than remove it.

Do I use the 4 or 8 images and can they be mixed? and can you add your own stock for a bit off detail to certain areas?

jon, the photos I posted are just a starter, use as many as you like and add your own photos the ones you don't mind people using. I may go back through this thread and use some of those already posted if I can't find anything suitable.
