Here's one of my Emperor dragonfly shots. I'm not keen on flash so all I take are natural lights shots :)

It’s all Christine’s fault she started it:) .
Christine I keep trying Iv even tried super glue but I just can’t catch the flipping things, and the knat’s when I try to catch them I miss, must get a bigger net or put my glasses on

Nice dragonfly shot, that is one I can't seem to capture I am always to far away.

Hugh. An easy way to atract the gnats it to cover yourself in lights then you will be able to get them no trouble, you will end up with lots of bites and itching but it will be worth it.

I just looked round the garden at sunset just as the light is going you can see them hovering in the sunlight. I focus on something the same distance and use flash.

nice shots there. here is one from my side. took this at a village while going to thekkady (south india).

shot this with canon 300d and 50mm 1.8 mkII.
