Just to add my input, Left is too dark and Right is much better. I agree with nirofo that the Right is a tad too bright.

Thank you Rob, I am happier now to go back and edit some of my photos that are to dark.

Try printing the two shots too to see which is better. As I said with my Spyder 3 if it looks OK on the screen it prints OK too which must mean something apart from just saving paper and ink.

Thanks Mike, I don't print often so not really bothered about that side of the calibration. I have a canon 6700 which hasn't been used in a while so I would have to give a thorough clean before printing anyway. All my photos are for just displaying on the web and in slidshows.
