I once dropped a coffee on a stone floor in a work restroom when i was younger. I instantly became very unpopular as the coffee shot from floor to ceiling. I have no idea where the energy comes from to propel liquid in this manner maybe resonance or something but the energy from a pellet could not send a body of liquid high in the air.

Anyway when I left that company seven years ago my coffee stain was still on the ceiling!

LOL...
I am still wondering why in middle of street though.
Concept is interesting for retrial and probably improvement by adding the right controlled flash light and a more understandable environment such as back ground of a restaurant at corner of street, kitchen etc.

Was it in a Pyrex mug? They are made of toughened glass which allows them to take a lot of heat and impact abuse. But they appear to have a huge amount of stress within the material and when they do break they almost explode when the potential energy is released.
