Lunar eclipse
A good photo opportunity tomorrow(sat) night around 8pm with a lunar eclipse,which i believe makes the moon appear reddish,I am certainly gonna have a go,and I`ll post my results.

Thanks for that Dave will have a look,I had a quick look to see if there were any post on the eclipse so I hope I haven't posted the same topic.

Well saphire,I started taking pics about 7pmwhen cloud cover let me ,and stopped around 9pm,maybe it turns red later?

Well its looking good but I dont think the colour will start to change before 9:30pm. Well thats what the guru tells me. :)
It looks lots better than this pic through a scope but it is very bright. Stevie is holding a red filter over the eyepiece to pick out details she has not seen before. :rolleyes: Latest info shadow is now appearing at the bottom. Bye for now. Don |
