Can one of you clever people help me get rid of that horrible drain pipe,
I will crop later to get rid of the rest of the distractions

Craftysnapper 24-06-07 20:43

You can clone it out, or alternativly paint it the same colour as the brickwork to make it less distracting.

A very quick edit Lello is this what you want.

Lello 24-06-07 20:58

How the Bl*****dy hell did you do that so fast and spot on:)
It's exactly what I wanted, Nice one Christine, Thanks
Are you going to tell how? :)

Saphire 24-06-07 21:07

Lello If I tell you I will have to kill you afterwards.:D
It wasn't too difficult I used the clone tool only I kept resizing it so as not to have to much of the same area. I placed the center of the picker to one of the joins in the brickwork and cloned away, the same for the floor. This is only a quick edit less than 10 minutes if I took longer the cloning would be less visible in the blowup.

Lello 24-06-07 21:14

Make it a quick death :)
I started using the clone tool but I couldn't seem to get the joins in the right place, But then again I'm not very patient.
Thanks, I will have a go at the original and see what happens :)
By the way what brush do you use?

Saphire 24-06-07 21:35

Lello.

I use any of the solid brushes set to normal 100% opacity 100% flow.

Christine, you are a genius. Just thought I'd make a post stating the blinkin' obvious. :)

Lello 25-06-07 19:23

Yes Duncan what would we do with out her :)

Saphire 25-06-07 19:31

Thanks Duncan, Lello, I should start a thread for people to post there photo's for me to practice on. I used to do retouching and repairs for a living when I had my B&W business and the occasional colour, work removing birthmarks and blemishes from children's photos.

Lello, here is one I have spent a bit more time over, I have tidied up the bricks better and put the mortar lines. I still used the same clone tool as before.

There's no need to clone. A simple bit of cut and paste will do, as I've shown on the attached altered image. I'm sure that you'll agree that you you have to look very hard to spot the manipulation.

Lello 25-06-07 21:27

Very good Mike, A push me pull you You just can't see the join

Joe 27-06-07 10:01

WOW!....
That's a pretty spectacular change.....

So when does the bike get 'moved' to appear on a road, in a group, with a rider on it! LOL :D
