Weekend challenge 31st Jan - 1st Feb 2009 - Footwear

This Weekend challenge 31st Jan - 1st Feb 2009
Weekend Challenge, the challenge will be open to all members.
Topic: Footwear (anything footwear related)
"These Boots were made for Walking"
The challenge will be run on (GMT) time, Saturday morning (00:00 hours) through to Midnight Sunday (23:59 hours).
The Weekend Challenge will close Monday 12 noon for posting photos, to allow time for a 3 day poll.
A 3 day poll will be in place in the thread, for you to vote for the best photo for that weekends challenge, the voting will end on Thursday at noon.
The winner picks a challenge for the following weekend and starts a new thread.

1. One photo per member.
2. To be taken during that weekend. (I hope you will be honest here).
3. The photo must include exif data if possible with date and time.
4. This may seem harsh but no comments from any members to be included in the thread. This will make it harder if there is a lot of photos for the voters to go through.
5. Post your entry as an attachment directly in this thread.

To create a poll go to top of thread and in Thread tools press Add a poll to this thread. Only the starter of this thread can see this option.
In the update options box change the number 2 to how may have entered.
In each box put the title of the entered photos.
In close poll, put 3 days.
Submit new poll, that's it done. Enjoy.

Hi Joe,

I am afraid events over the weekend did not allow time.
I find the 2 days only a bit restrictive to be honest. May I suggest that the challenge is extended to include Friday evening from 6 pm onwards to allow a bit of extra time for those who are busy or work weekends.

I am surprised that the ladies did not do a party shoe theme.

Joe 02-02-09 18:27

Cheers Rob,
These things happen.

This has been agreed Rob. For the purpose of the competition, the weekend will now run from Friday noon until Monday noon. Any pictures taken within this time frame will be eligible for future competitions.

Duncan Congratulations on your excellent winning shot.

It looks like your in the chair to pick the theme for the next Weekend Challenge :D

yelvertoft 05-02-09 19:25

Thank you Rob, it was a close run thing. I'll have a think about the theme and come up with an idea later tonight, ........................... hopefully.

It won't be for long. Floor was laid on Thurs/Fri, photo taken on the Saturday, got to make the most of the photo opportunities presented by a clear living room with new flooring. Furniture is going back in this afternoon, at which point I'm sure the floor will get scratched. :(

Well done Duncan.
Is a great shot.
Looking forward to this weekend's challenge
cheers

Duncan has made it sticky, so it's right at the top of the comps section threads.
