The challenge will be run on (GMT) time.
Post your photo in this thread from Friday 11th Sept through to mid-night Sunday 20th Sept.
Then a 3 day poll will be placed in this thread for voting on the best photo in this challenge.

The winner picks a challenge for the following fortnight and starts a new thread.

1. One photo per member.
2. To be taken during period stated above
3. The photo must include exif data if possible with date and time.
4 . Post your entry as an attachment directly in this thread.

I am with Duncan on this point.

"person who set the theme cannot enter their own competition"

It helps avoid the same person winning every fortnight.

I have set a 3 day poll so that it gives the winner a day to think of a new topic for the next challenge.

If we can start the challenge on a Friday it gives folk more chance to enter. i.e 2 weekends and 5 weekdays.

Fair enough, I just wondered why you hadn't put your photo in the vote is all, I understand the reason though.
