Bought me a new camera

Hi all I'm happy I have just bought a new camera, a canon 40d upgrade for the 350d. Really looking forward to having the next two weeks off to play with it when it arrives.

Excellent news Kevin. Having the kit is great and having the chance to play with it is even better!
Best of luck with it, and hope you get some good shots

The 350D is the lowest spec of those three cameras but is still very good, it is relatively small and lightweight but lacks the build quality of the 30D/40D. The 30D and 40D have the same body and basic controls, but the 40D has a slightly faster frame rate, an extra 2mp and uses Canon's newer 14 bit processor. I've been through all three of these cameras and have been very happy using all of them, personally I think the 40D is the best of them but the other two are very close and will cost a good deal less.

The 40D also has Canon's sensor shake dust removal. Excellent camera.
