I reckon you are right. Just looked and we (along with a number of others) joined on the 13th December 2005 so I guess that is the day the forum was announced on BirdForum. Not sure how long it was up for before then.

So who was the first member to join (apart from those who set up the site) and his he/she still with us?

Just looked a bit closer and it seems that the site went live on the 12th. The first member to join is no longer active. In fact the earliest member who is still active is member number 40 - Robski! Adey is just behind at number 43 where I was clearly slow off the mark being number 53.

So the Beers are on me then for the 12th ?

So got time to bake a cake before the 12th. If only I could cook.

It was a whole 48 hours before I got round to joining!

I also joined on 13th so guess I must have been a bit slower than some :)

Now that Rob has confirmed, its on him, where do get together for the party?

Nigel, but a lot faster than some :) Not being a member of the Bird Forum it took me sometime to find the forum as I joined on 21-12-05. Cannot remember how I came across the forum though.

I believe it was Duncan who pointed me at the forum too, but I was well behind you in joining!
