Exploding TV
Do any of the veiwers know of a photoshop plug-in filter which will create an exploding TV screen effect.

No Photoshop filter, alas, I had the real thing. Switched it on, it went BANG! No matter, life is much better without it, I have decided.

John;
I am totally not for plug ins as usually there is a way to create the effects on PS by yourself. Try this; 1- Create a layer of your TV on top 2- Using Hue and sat or color adjust, bring the color to warm orange yellow 3- Multiply your layers 4- using Filter > Liquefy try to create the effect of blast 5- merge the layers that work fine all over or save it after unclicking the layers that don't work |
Tannins method is quicker! :D

Yes, but with a bit more velocity and power. It's a good place to start from though.
