Sorry to hear that Peter. We have had an early Spring for past 2 weeks or so but news forecast a possible change of weather this Sunday and then my best wishes goes to the early blossoms that hopefully should not be affected with an unexpected cold front, well into the Spring. As such due to low rain our farmers are suffering and burning blossoms would be adding salt to wound.

Nice try and very timely work.

Here goes mine and this one might be harder in appearance than what it actually is:

Excellent first try and you are in totally right direction but No.
By the way that White stuff is actually Snow and not salt or any other white thing ( :) ).
Hint: This proverb/idiom was name of a movie that was played by someone that you have seen most frequently on your TV screen, if you have watched the Oscar award ceremony 2016, last weekend (That is if you have not boycott Academy Awards for being too White:)

I thought this will stay up for a while but the way it goes, I guess this proverb may not last long!

this has been left for a while ,can't really think of anything for this..

what about, down under? or Roots?

50% is correct in this 2 words statement.
The proverb has 3 words and that is the missing 2 are 2nd and 3rd words.
Also pay attention to prior hint, that Chris Rock has a movie with the same title!

Is it easier now?

Gidders 10-03-16 16:41

Got to be this

Ok here you go. Shouldn't be too hard, but then they're all easy when you know the answer

All I can for sure is: "A very beautiful and well made image".
Nothing really pops out but there was an old Italian proverb:
L’acqua fa male e il vino fa cantare.
or
"Water hurts and wine makes you sing".

Not sure if that is the case here though.

Everyone, HELP please...

sassan 11-03-16 18:28

Or how about more simpler way of saying:

'Turn water into wine'?
