Useful Tools for Photoshop Users

A while ago, fellow member Buckster sent me this link. I've only just got around to really exploring the tools on offer. I have to say, once I'd figured out what to do, it's a very, very useful set of utilities.

It may be said that it's a cop-out to crib somebody else's photoshop actions (that's macros for want of a better description), but why re-invent the wheel? I'm not a great one for massive post processing and find some of these tools to be ideal for my needs. It certainly saves me a lot of faffing around.

Instructions for what to do with the actions file(s) you've downloaded are here:

Thought I'd give this thread a bit of a bump. There's been quite a lot of digital B&W images appearing on the gallery recently that appear to have been converted by a simple desaturation. Whilst this treatment can work for some subjects, it usually doesn't do the original picture justice, and probably doesn't match what the picture taker had in mind.

Using the TLR B&W Conversion actions and Toning actions can really do much more for B&W conversion than a simple desaturation. Hope somebody finds them useful.

Regards,

Duncan.
