Fortnightly Challenge - 5th Mch to midnight 18th Mch - Slow Shutter Speed
This fortnight's challenge - Slow Shutter Speed - any subject matter you like as long as you use a slow shutter speed. What is slow? In some respects it depends on the subject matter so I'll not be prescriptive but they always used to reckon that 1/30 sec was the slowest you could hand hold a standard lens (50mm in full frame terms) so let say slower than that. However it should be obvious to the viewer that a 'slow' shutter speed was used - that could be 15 sec for a night shot or 1/15 for very fast running water or a spinning propeller - its up to you
Fortnightly Challenge is open to all members of WPF. The challenge will be run on (GMT) time. Post your photo in this thread any time from 5th Mch to midnight 18th Mch. Then a 3 day poll will be placed in this thread for voting on the photo you like best in this challenge. Please give your photo a title. The winner picks a challenge for the following fortnight and starts a new thread. 1. One photo per member 2. To be taken during period stated above 3. The photo must include exif data if possible with date and time 4. Post your entry as one attachment directly in this thread 5. No discussion of entries in the thread 6. Do not post any entries in the gallery until after the voting has finished Good Luck to Everyone |
I just found this. Didn't see it had been posted. Nice broad theme, so should attract lots of entries. I have a few early ideas already. Will try to avoid the obvious coastal shots thought, as I live on the coast and that would less challenging for me.
