Picture of the Year 2017

Well your POTW panel have cast their votes & I think its a reflection of how strong the images all are, in that there was no one run away winner
with six different images being awarded first place by one member of the panel or another. It also goes to show that maybe we are all drawn to
& looking for different thing when making out selection.

So in reverse order, in 5th place Fly by Nigel G

Congratulations to everyone who won a POTW during 2017 & to our top 5 in POTY - five very different images & a credit to WPF

It has often become quite difficult choosing a worthy winner for POTW during 2017 as the number of images posted in any particular week has sometimes been quite low. Therefore the panel have decided to retire POTW in its current form. POTW has been running for 10 years since January 2008 and there are some fabulous images in the gallery - check them out

Thank you to all the panel, Ade G, Nigel G, Graham Harcombe, Sassan, Tugboat & Dave598

However this does open up the field for someone to create a new competition be that something monthly, something themed, or something completely different - its your forum so over to you

Tugboat 13-01-18 08:12

congratulations to John and all involved, well done Clive for all your work sorting it out.

graham harcombe 13-01-18 09:11

Congratulations to all.
