Pre digital age methinks. Missing the drum magazine for C.F. cards. :D

Yes I've seen a couple over the last 30 years but none recently... The hand grip at the front incorporates a threaded cable release like a trigger... More recent cameras do not have the screw in thread on the shutter release button though some like the Bronica ETRs have a compatible connection on the side...

Yep! - Seen one used for aviation photography at a military open day. Frankly in this current security climate I would not go close to an airfield with such a contraption. Its bad enough with a camera and lens combination that would look like a rocket launcher from a distance.

LOL:D
You are absolutely right. A lot of things has changed in post Sep 11.

Don Loved that CF magazine. Now if one exist, is it gonna be count in terms of CF numbers or their GB capacity. I am sure Alcapon would not figure this out.

Kennymc: I like to try one of these with those after market cabled release remote. Should make an interesting gadget but Nikon Fox has the world of wisdom, it is probably easy to lose a head on this one....

BTW I got another one >>>>>> L I N K <<<<<<<<
I think this one is hybrid of tommy with a Dragunov rifle...

I actually have something like this although I've never used it. Bought it for a buck at a yard sale. I though it might be useful for mounting a scope.

I think these were designed for wikdlife photography so you could shoot them as you would with a rifle... You get your trophy, the image, and the animal doesn't get hurt...

Ive also seen a few similler devices in use at airshows. But i agree with Stephans point about the look of it.
