made of metal

sassan 15-01-16 05:01

Hummm, Metal...
Then its either a shiny disc with carved lines on it such as a halter disc/Fruit juice maker machine's disc or a cylindrical tubular structure with carved screw markings on a pipe or a cars' spare plug.
Well other than this I am clueless.
Hey guys what are you thinking? Come on and help.

Mo this Puzzle is already solved.
You know that a game section is added to WPF.
In this game; "What is it?" the first photographer, place an images and others will tell what it is. Whoever wins, will add the next image. And game goes on this way.
Trena confirmed Peter was right in calling this "tin can" I believe a naked one after removal of paper label!
But I guess you have telepathy and read Peter mind as to what he was going to placed.
So and in any case, to make the game go on, I'll add an image, if Peter doesn't mind.
Here we go and now guess what it is:

No Problem Peter. Its only beginning of this game section and also rules says a third person can add a picture if winner doesn't add one. So I take the rain check for the next one that I am going to forget!

Well everyone you are very close to name this puzzle and make your calls. I am sure we are going to have a winner soon, may be today.

graham harcombe 17-01-16 17:44

Water going down a sink or basin hole?

postcardcv 17-01-16 17:54

No. Water temperature is same as environment. Some may call it cold but definitely neither boiling nor frozen.

You are very close. Think in a much larger magnitude than a sink and there is no hole.

Gidders 17-01-16 23:50

This was taken with a 600mm lens... something like a waterfall or river?

sassan 18-01-16 01:54

Very very close. I guess if you add one more to the list, on the same line. I could accept Water fall but not exactly waterfall.

graham harcombe 19-01-16 08:24

Water falling from a roof?

Congratulation. Technically Yes and we have a winner. Close enough to accept this statement.
Water falling from top of a giant wave, you called it roof.
We had waves up to 15-20 feet the other day and though not one of the tallest waves, the falling water here was giant:

Now Graham its your turn to put up your image of "What it is?" and lets a new fun begin.
