Chocolate bar macro shoot

Hi I would like to do something similar to this:

My question is: How do you achieve that look? What kind of lens would you use? I´m using a 50mm canon macro with a extension tube 1.4 but it´s very hard to get everything in focus. any ideas?

You should be able to achieve this look. I think you may be using too big an aperture. To get a decent DoF you need a small aperture (a big f number). You may be assuming that the look you are after is down to the lens you are using. I think you need to experiment with lighting more than lens. the shot you have linked to has been made using at least two off-camera flash heads, fitted with (probably) a brolly and a softbox.

As Duncan says, but the use of stacking software will help. Have a look at CombineZM http://www.hadleyweb.pwp.blueyonder....inezm_help.htm
