Background paper

Does anyone know where I can purchase small rolls of background paper rather than the large rolls used in studio photography. I want to do some macro photography indoors and I have managed to buy two small background paper holders and a roll of blue background wipe clean paper from China via Amazon. I cannot find anyone in the UK who stocks small rolls any help would be appreciated. ~ Buspass ;)

Are you talking of something like these that are £8 or up:

or Here on ebay UK? that you can set the filer according to "Lowest to Highest price + Shipping" or "Your location zip code", etc.

In short, did you Google it with "Close to the point", key phrases?

Hi sassan
Many thanks for your reply to my question. I purchased a 68cm background paper stand and a roll of wipe clean background paper size 68cm x 130cm from China via Amazon UK. Unfortunately they only sell blue colour background paper and I wanted other colours as I have got into indoor flowers and other macro photography. Once again thanks for your reply unfortunately the items in the links you suggested are not what I require. ~ Buspass.

For macro I generally find A4 paper is fine (available in a huge range of colours) A3 is more than adequate if you want a bit more.

Spring clamps are fine for holding it to any support.

Thanks for that Mike. I will give that a go. ~ Dave

Surely you can do a lot with simple DIY projects and there are plenty of tips out there.
If you look at something ready made and only for macro, my son had a good look with this (Or a similar type) kit:

specially for picturing things you might sell on ebay or likewise.
And if already you have access to some source of light and so on, you may look at this much cheaper alternative:

Its really not that difficult to make a setup like that with cardboard box and simple papers, if you know what you are doing.
So get either creative or spend a few box and you should probably have what you're look for.
