Weekend Challenge..21st - 24th August.."Self Portrait" in disguise
 

Thankyou for the votes,thought I would start up the new weekend challenge for another week.
maybe if we are going to change to monthly we can start up at the start of Sept. Hope we can have a bit of fun with this one this week.

Weekend Challenge, the challenge will be open to all members.
Topic: SELF PORTRAIT in disguise
The challenge will be run on (GMT) time, Friday noon (12:00 hours) through to Monday noon (12:00 hours).
The Weekend Challenge will close Monday 12 noon for posting photos, to allow time for a 3 day poll.
A 3 day poll will be in place in the thread, for you to vote for the best photo for that weekends challenge, the voting will end on Thursday at noon.
The winner picks a challenge for the following weekend and starts a new thread.

1. One photo per member.
2. To be taken during that weekend. (I hope you will be honest here).
3. The photo must include exif data if possible with date and time.
4. This may seem harsh but no comments from any members to be included in the thread. This will make it harder if there is a lot of photos for the voters to go through.
5. Post your entry as an attachment directly in this thread.

have we come to some sort of final idea on these comps yet?

If mods cant be arsed i suggest they set up a post looking for new mods..

I'm not quite sure what your problem is. Idea for a new format have been discussed and the mods have made it clear that we are happy to go with what the members want. A poll has now been set up to decide what to do (have you missed this) so we'll know the new direction later today.

If you have issues with the way the site is run and moderated then you should contact the mods or admin by PM, and not resort to cheap insults.

the poll on the other thread is now closed - http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...8550#post38550 it seems that fortnightly with members voting has just edged it, though there was a clear overall prefernce for the fortnightly challenege. So I suggest we give fortnightly competitions ago we can always look at it again if it doesn't work out.

Trena I suggest that you set the new comp allowing seven days for entries and then pt up a poll for 4 days of voting. We'll see if this re-awakens the interest in the comps and if not we can always look to try something different.

I'm not quite sure where to start with this..how to set it out and what day does it start and finish... could someone help with setting it out.
