Don't worry about changing cards
Toshiba have announced some new SDHC cards. It will save all that tedious bother of ever having to change cards in mid shoot.
http://www.toshiba.co.jp/about/press/2007_08/pr2201.htm 32GB big enough for you? That would be somewhere in the region of 1,900 raw files for me, or about 6,400 best quality jpegs. |
Can you imagine loosing or damaging a card with that many photos on it? Lots of smaller capacity cards for me.

I agree, I still use Sandisk Ultra II one gig Compact Flash cards, when ones full I just slip another one into the camera, then I download the first one onto my portable image bank and keep on clicking while it's downloading! The image bank holds 60gb of images and any other data you want to put on it, more than enough for a 2 weeks holiday anywhere! nirofo. |
Quite so I got a 60gb vosonic for going on holiday. Slurped the data off the card each time I returned to base. and two 1GB cards were enough for session of photographs.
I think these 32gb cards are mainly going to be for digital camcorders, and large format users. Price for one of these cards I think is over $700. |
