Camera Raw

Just downloaded the latest update for Camera Raw 4.3. and no instructions or help file.

Can anyone tell me how I replace the old version as this is the one that loads up. I've tried finding Camera Raw in my existing Adobe folder without any success.

Thanks.

Did you check the subfolder "Plug-ins" under CS folder under Adobe, under Program Files?

The instuctions are on the Adobe web site where you download the Raw Converter file from - see the readme file on the site. For Elements: Windows version: 1) Exit Photoshop Elements 2) Open My Computer. 3) Double click Local Disk C 4) Navigate to Programme Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 6\Plug-ins\File Formats. 5) Move the existing Camera Raw.8bi plug-in to another location (for example a new folder on your desktop). Ensure you keep this version in case you have to revert back. 6) Copy the new Camera Raw plug-in, Camera Raw.8bi, from the download into the same folder as step 4. 7) Launch Photoshop Elements.
If you have Photoshop CS3 select ''Updates'' from the help menu and follow the on screen help dialogs. If its Elements you need either version 5 or 6.

I think I'm correct in saying that this plug-in will only work with CS3.

Quite right, The Camera Raw that is used by CS2 is a couple of revisions out of date now and will never be updated.
