widescreen for Photoshop
Of to get a new moniter
Why a widescreen for Photoshop what’s the added benefit Hugh http://hughsphotoshop.com/ |
Most CRT monitors have a 4:3 aspect ratio which is almost square. DSLR cameras with full frame or APS-C sensors have a 3:2 aspect, more rectaugular. The closer the monitor is to the aspect of your camera it will display more of the image with a greater pixel coverage. I.E. if you could (not sure if possible) get a 3:2 aspect monitor it could fully display your image 100% without any wasted screen area/pixels.

Hugh,
You can go for Apple cinema display. 23 inches and 30 inches display (both 16:10 aspect ratio). If you're not using Apple machine but Windows PC, you need to have compatible graphic card and DVI port. For more information on this: www.apple.com/support/displays and search for article 301066 Warm regards. Rudra. |
