Hi
Quite new to photography

Needed to take a few shots of framed paintings (under glass) so had to settle for taking from the side in a hurry before they got collected.

Is it possible to correct the parallelogram images in Photoshop 9. to get to a rectangle.

If, by photoshop 9 you mean CS2, then yes.

Filter > Distort > Lens Correction
Then adjust the sliders for Transform. It will mean some fairly drastic cropping afterwards I suspect.
