again excellent shots mate...love them, sharpness is superb. Do you use live specimens i take it from the discription you do, and if so where do you get them from. are they pets?

I saw an article in amatuer photographer last week about this kind of work, although it was about super macro the guy was using dead specimens and getting a hell of alot closer and placing the subject on a pin and using half a pingpong ball behind as a defuser. Amazing article well worth a read.

I think I've seen those extreme high mag macro (>10X) you're talking about. There's someone in FM that posts that.

Amazed at the DOF, especially in the first one. Stacked shots? They must stay very still for you (or rather waiting for their prey) if that is so!

hi mate, I didn't realise you weren't in the uk, I'd imagine specimens like that would be tricky to get here. Being in malaysia I'd imagine they are a lot easier to get. I've been to malaysia, ie KL, penang, melaka, and port stephens. Lovely places.
