printer recommendations or deals?

I am looking for a good printer for some photo invitations I'd like to start making on my own.

Has anyone had particularly good experience with quality using a specific photo printer that is not to high in price and/or seen any great deals or coupons online for them?

Canon iP4500 or newer iP4600 for A4, Canon iX4000 for A3

Thanks for the reply. I did go for a Cannon Pixma. Got it 30% off with a Sears coupon here last week and it was under 100! I'll update with results once I get going with it.
