My choice for Sun 13th January 2013

This week I have chosen “Fishermans sunset” by Alan Wilson. It's a glorious setting of course, but the gentle colours of the evening light are shown to excellent advantage aided by the reflections. The fishermen silhouetted against the horizon neatly positioned slightly high in the frame to allow us to see the detail of the foreground sands.

Again, I shortlisted six shots, Nigel posted a glorious pair of deer and I couldn't ignore the technical excellence of Radub's fly, Trena's glorious Minnamura sunset, Robski's January Bluetit perfect in detail and Paul's London by night all gave me problems of selection. Sorry to list so many, but I had reached the limit of excuses to eliminate.
