POTW 29th December 2013
 

My choice for the festive season is Crosby Beach Sunset by bfb1150gs. A splendid shot of one of the famous Antony Gormley figures set against a gloriously illuminated sky. I liked particularly the composition that offsets the main subject, but uses the unusual cloud formations to concentrate the focus of attention.

I did however give a lot of thought to Tugboat's impeccable 'Colours' and Mike's splendid Salisbury Sunrise before making my final choice. So, well done to Ryland and thanks to all contributors for continuing to submit excellent images. My best wishes to all for a happy 2014.
