file info
Hi
when opening a photo in Photoshop click on file, then file info, then camera data 1, you get the camera Mack, shutter speed, ISO, and lens, is there a way of copying this info to a word file it will not allow me to highlight copy and past any iders pleas in layman’s terms Hugh |
I have just had a go at getting the information you can save the metadata in xmp format, but don't know how to open it. The save is in the top right of the info panel where the little arrow is.

Hugh; I tried to do this and, like Christine, couldn't figure out a way to open the the xmp file as text.

It is possible to save as word by changing the extension (at least in CS) to .doc format and then open it in word. Change to *.* and type the extension .doc at the end of the file name manually. It's probably possible to create it in notepad etc. using the appropiate ext - I didn't try this.
You may have to install some extra Word functionailty to open and view? Which may not be the case in notepad. Looking at the result I created I'm not sure it's usefull though. |
thank you all for input I will just haft to type faster and lern to spell
