Its mobile based at the moment but now Facebook own it, it will become PC based too. I am not one for staring at a phone all day long but i do get the occasional app and this is the best one i have....

Not at all, in fact they are two completely different things. Go into any decent spec camera setting and you will have the option of small, medium and large and then something like 5mp, 10mp and 16.1...

I already have my D7000 which is constantly suprising me and will actually be better in some areas.
I have got him down to £650 on the 1D Mk3. I would be using it for Macro and Nature based stuff....

Put another way, if you go for the D7000, you wont need to upgrade very soon but if you go for the D5100, its more likely you will. Also in terms of lenses, forget the 18-55. Just go for an 18-300...
