The noise at high ISO is excellent for a crop sensor camera especially if you do not underexpose in poor light. If high ISO performance is your main criteria above anything else look at full frame...

It does not have to stay on f1.8, you can change it to other apertures as required you know! The f1.8 gives you the opportunity for narrow depth of field, for example only the nearest eye in focus.
