I take it with the Sigma you used a tripod?
May get a D200 for now to use with my Tamron, then get the lens when funds/wife allows.
Which tripod though for when I do get the Sigma?

In the future I am thinking of getting a Prime lens/camera/1.4x converter.
At the moment I have a Nikon D70s/Tamron 200-500mm.
I was thinking along the lines of a Nikon D200/Sigma 500mm f4.5/1.4x...

I was led to believe converter's of 'ANY' kind are useless on the Tamron....
Even the company say not to use a converter with this lens.
But I stand to be corrected.
