I am with you to some extent Harry, I won't be upgrading again, (50 is a bit steep for an update ) but it is far better than the old free version that is no longer available since DXO took them...

Yesterday I purchased the Nik 3 update, just a heads up about the download.
I am coming from the Apple Mac perspective it may be different for windows.

I guess the reason I keep up with the updates is because I started using DXO when it came out over 20 years ago and never felt the need to try PS or any of the myriad of RAW converters / editors....

Just downloaded the upgrade photo lab 3 elite.
It took a bit of doing as it had "hidden" in the apps folder, having found it and registered it, I had a play with some old images.

Hi wolfie, the Lexar reader has one CF and one SD slot, its a very fast one too, USB3 second generation Model LRW400U. It is a clamshell design so you can close it when not in use to stop dust etc...
