Sorry but dont know where you get the impression that canon used ccd sensors they havent use a ccd sensor since the first D1 all canon sensors are cmos as they have less noise and better colour...

I have BT broadband 8mb service but because i am farther away from the exchange i only recieve 4mb but BT do say service is upto 8mb so carnt complain.
