That makes two of us then and my favourite lens is the more modern ZD 50mm f2 Macro, sharp as a razor and I find it great for portraits where a narrow dof is needed.

You will find that it is the color space profile that is the problem and I'm guessing it is set to Grey Gamma 2.2, try changing the profile to srgb...
