I do feel as compare to 450D you can consider 40D...

I do feel as compare to 450D you can consider 40D a better option it performs better at low-light ISO and its built is good I personally feel.

Which camera to choose completely depends upon your needs. Both the camera performs well but the Nikon D3100 will perform better in low-lights and also it supports full hd video.

From the list you have posted I feel you can check out with Canon IXUS 105. Its a camera nice camera with good picture quality and video quality is also ok. It has 28mm wide-angle lens so also good...
