Have you tried Nikon Capture NX? - in my opinion THE RAW converter and image processing application for Nikon users.

Thanks Steven, I have downloaded Nikon Capture NX but was hoping I could do everything inside Photoshop as I think there's a conflict between the two programmes. (I seem to remember something about it when I installed it on my laptop.) I'm sure Adobe will get round to a V3.5 eventually.
