To be clear the X and Hs just take the pic therefore SB/SU-800 handle the lighting in both i-TTL and manual modes.

Its a crazy world. I have the 80-DX and have not read the manual as I use MANUAL MODE, and yet I have just downloaded the SB-600 manual to try and make head or tail of all this fancy auto modern day stuff.
