Wow...implications for photographers and pro' videographers there....
From the li-ion content restrictions shown, as long as batteries are carried as hand luggage it doesn't look to be too much of a problem for Digital SLR users...unless you've got near 30x batteries with you...However, checkout the reduced limit on NON-rechargeable li-ion packs as used with many pro film SLR's!
I think the Metz flash battery packs are probably the most hazardous....I've occasionally thought my 60CT pack might burst into flames...but then it always did hum,vibrate and get warm with use!
