£800 difference will make a lot of difference in the affordability stakes for those that want full frame. Also size and weight is a factor for quite a few. Similar arguement to the D2X v D200.
Quite a few members here went for the Canon 5D I assume on the same basis rather than 1Ds MkII ( hope I got that right
). I bet Sassan will be full of it when Canon announce the 5D replacement.
