Chaps, I am not normally sensitive, I honestly thought I was being patronised, so you don't have to mind your Ps&Qs. I changed my alias because my avatar has long had my name in it so it was stupid not to use it. I also think that I am unlikely to get into the sort of general discussions on here where you might want to use an alias. My work might not be the best but I am prepared to own up to it.

I like the crop, in particular the seated man on the lower right is in a better position than in Duncan's crop. OTH I did like the 'REIS' window on the l/h side which has now gone. You have both proved that mine was a poor rendition of what has the potential to be quite a strong image. What you have missed is that I spent some time in working on the saturation, probably at the expense of the overall image.

I will definitely be back with a re-worked original, but perhaps not for a few days as I am away in sunny Birmingham.

I agree re the difficulty of commenting, however if someone has used the 'critique button' which I always try and do, (in fact that should be the default in my view) then they should be able to cope with well put comments that might be critical but are not derogatory
